Our Corgis currently range from $1500-$2500. This price is determined on many factors, including health testing, type of registration, coloring, and time that we have the puppy.
DM is a horrible neurological disease of the spinal cord that Corgis should be tested for. There is A, B, and C test results. A-means that the dog is clear of the disease and won't spread it to its puppies. B means that it is a carrier of the gene. If the parent is a B- Carrier of the gene, the puppies will not get the disease, if bred with an A, but they will either be a carrier as well, or they will be A- clear of the gene. If the dog is a C, and bred to a B or C, there is a 50-100% chance the puppies will also test positive for DM. Please make sure that your breeder tests for DM. If you bought a dog with DM, there are groups you can join that will help support you emotionally. You can send me a message if you need links to these groups. Two other tests that are important to test for are VWD1 and EIC.
As a child, I didn’t spend my time in the library the same way other kids did. I always went straight for “The Ultimate Encyclopedia of Dogs”. I studied this book so hard that twenty years later I can still identify almost every one of the 180+ dog breeds in that book. Corgis were in my top 2 favorite dog breeds! I didn’t just pick the cutest looking dogs. I picked the ones that matched my personality and future the best! They are smart, affectionate, loyal, friendly, cuddly, great with kids, and fun. After the last few years of breeding, we couldn't be more in love or supportive over this breed.
Our Corgis are bred to be more than companions, they will become your BEST FRIENDS! We spend most of our time loving on our corgis. We make sure our Corgis are loved and cherished from the moment they are born. Having a full household gives us more people to love them and help them grow.
We have gone through all of the major obstacles for you, as your breeder. When we chose to buy our Corgis, we looked into many different breeders, health issues, and faced many obstacles. We fell in love with, and tested Corgis, which we never were able to buy, because they weren’t healthy enough to breed. We went through breeders who were out to make money and didn’t care about the health and wellbeing of their puppies. We spent hundreds bringing one back to health that we bought for almost $3,000! We spent 2 weeks of vet visits, medication, wrapping bags around our feet, cleaning up blood, and special love, because we knew it deserved better. We do not want you to go through the heartache of these obstacles. We believe buying a puppy should be a fun and rewarding experience. We have done the testing, narrowed down the best breeders to the best dogs, and created an amazing healthy line of corgis to make your future puppies!
We do not push breeding. If our girls don’t naturally tie, we don’t make them try. All 4 of our dogs live together and sleep in the house with us. They are our family.
Our family has 4 children. Ages 8months- 10 years. Our Corgis love being around kids! This means your corgi will have plenty of time with different aged children, so that they can adjust to your children with ease!
We also have cats, and of course other dogs in the home. Growing up with other cats and dogs will help them feel comfortable with other animals from the very beginning.
Due to their sensitive immune systems as puppies, we do not expose them to any other animals or kids till after they have at least had their first shots. It is very important that they do not get exposed to anyone or anything that can bring diseases, worms or sickness around them. We make sure they are in a well sanitized area.
Yes! Each puppy will come with a limited AKC or CKC registration. Please ask about full registration if you plan to breed your Corgi.
Bluies are diluted tri-colored corgis. This means the corgi inherited a diluted gene from each parent. Since the gene needs to be diluted in both parents, this makes the color less common. They are still registered by the AKC, and we have submitted images to the AKC to have our bluie specially registered.
Our deposit requirement is $300. We accept cash, or online payments through Good Dog, Venmo, and PayPal. Your deposit is nonrefundable. This is to ensure that your dog has a home to go to that is serious about adopting them, and that they don't lose a chance on another great home. It is important that they find their homes before 12 weeks, so that they don't stay too long and grow a stronger bond with us and our dogs, making it harder on them to adjust to a new home.
Most corgis are actually born with tails! We need to decide if the tails are being docked before day 5. This also means that we need enough time to set up a vet appointment. If you want your puppies tail docked or not docked, this is something you must decide ahead of time and let us know so we can accommodate your request.
There are mixed studies that docking tails can cause back problems, incontinence, and nerve damage. If you are using your dog for Hearding, we recommend docking the tail or buying one with a natural stub tail, for the safety of your dog. Do your own research before making your decision. We believe there are positives and negatives to both choices.
